VERITY OF TRUTH AND FALSEHOOD
Should we beware of false knowledge?
Many theories are negated when new are introduced or come into practice. Theories evolve, change and grow. Therefore, knowledge can be false initially and lives a journey towards advancement and improvement but this is how things are, time changes so do the ideas and human beings’ brain capabilities. It’s better to break the chains of self-imprisonment and be open to false things to find better ways for truth-discovery.

  1. I appreciate your reflection. Wouldn't it have been more suitable to call it Verity of Truth and Falsehood instead? Secondly, there is some false knowledge I know which is so tempting that we fall prey to it forgetting we were there to find truth. Beware of it too.

  2. Dear Unknown,

Thank you for your suggestion. I have edited it upon your valid feedback.

Well, since the word ''knowledge''has been mentioned so its understood that concepts, logics and theories which satisfies the knowledge science have only been taken into account while explaining the verity of truth and falsehood in the context of knowledge. As knowledge in its true sense left us with some kind of learning whereas evil things do not make us learn in fact brings self-destruction in majority cases.

The evil things which tempts human being are excluded from knowledge of course.

Please do let me know if you further have disagreements.

    1. Oxford Advanced Learner's dictionary defines Knowledge an understanding of or information about a subject. Seeing it this way, I will not hesitate to include even evil theories, phenomenons and facts in the domain of knowledge.

More importantly, it isn't a disagreement with you. It is just an opinion. I hope I have a right to have it.

    2. Well of course, you have all the rights.

Since you have gone specific and stated evil theories, phenomenons and facts in the domain of knowledge. That is giving oneself exposure of different things. For example, if I belong to religion A; I should not mind going through the Holy Book of religion B. I would definitely see what false things written in there that I have not embraced it.

The ultimate decision of choosing the right path is up to you but giving yourself exposure to different things is not a bad idea I believe.
